Ayla

Ayla can accommodate up to ten with two large aft double cabins, forward twin/double master cabin, forward twin bunk cabin and up to two berths in the saloon, along with two heads, both with hot and cold water and shower, plus a large galley along the side of the saloon. Her layout is particularly suited for groups of eight who can cruise in comfort without having to use the saloon for berths.

A well equipped navigation station with GPS and full instrumentation is accompanied by an autopilot connected to the twin wheel steering and shorepower. On deck she has an electric anchor windlass, furling genoa and stacpac mainsail with adjustable backstay and all lines led aft to cockpit plus tender and outboard. She has a 55hp sail-drive, and offers charterers the chance to sail a large, modern boat in considerable comfort

Ayla is a well laid out cruising boat, with a particularly large cockpit and twin wheel steering meaning that there is plenty of room for everyone on board to enjoy their sailing. She has wide, safe sidedecks for those who wish to venture forward.

Down below her layout ensures that there is plenty of private accommodation for those wanting a quiet moment on their own, whilst the spacious saloon, galley and navigation area provide the opportunity for more social gatherings.

Ayla has the optional deep draft lead keel fitted, which significantly improves her sailing performance, reducing leeway and making her much 'stiffer' than standard Bavaria 44s. This is complimented by the battened mainsail, stowing in a stacpac system, and which offers a 15% increase in sail area over the standard mainsail.
