Stormer

ColonsayFor those who wish to combine comfortable cruising with exciting sailing, or who wish to charter a performance boat (with a full set of mylar sails) for regatta events. On deck she has a furling genoa (new for 2002) and stacpac mainsail, with oversized winches and all lines led aft. A tender and new 3.3 hp outboard are included in the charter fee, with a spinnaker available for a small surcharge. Her engine is Volvo 29hp saildrive. Stormer charters from Friday to Friday, and regatta/racing charters can be arranged provided sufficient notice is given.

The well equipped galley has a stove with grill and oven, complimented by a refrigerated cold box and double sink. The chart table is opposite this on the starboard side, and to the rear is the heads with hot and cold water and pressurised shower.

Forward Cabin Aft Skipper's Cabin Aft Twin Cabin Galley Navigation Station Heads Stormer is a well designed sea boat, and successfully manages to combine excellent sailing performance with cruising comfort below decks. Her saloon is fitted out to the usual Westerly standard, with plenty of teak and provision for storage. She is a particularly easy and safe boat to move around in, with plenty of handholds throughout the cabin.

Stormer offers up to seven berths in a layout consisting of aft twin cabin, aft single cabin, forward double/twin and two single berths in the saloon. She has two heads, one with a shower, a very large galley with rwfrigerated icebox and a new cooker, and excellent navigation equipment including a chartplotter and two GPS units plus Navtex and wheelpilot.
